Coaches
Our coaches are specialists, trained and/or certified through the Coaching Association of Canada’s National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and CBTF, and are committed to fostering growth in all of our athletes. As professionals, they continue to hone their skills by participating in extensive ongoing training, always growing their teaching techniques to better suit the needs of today’s athletes. Our club is also affiliated with both The Canadian Baton Twirling Federation and the Canadian
Susan Franklyn
Head Coach, Club Director
-Twirled since she was ten years old, with over 30 years of teaching experience.
-She has travelled over the world for baton, and has coaches all ages!
-Was most recently in Liverpool with Team Canada.
We have been working hard to prepare for this new season.
We are excited to welcome our athletes back officially next week.

Shanice Boswell
Pre-Comp Competitive Coach
-Twirled with Starlight Destiny from the age of 5 and participated in several world team events.
-She helps our recreational athletes learn the basics in such a way that they don’t even know they are working hard!
Lynsay Johnston
Pre-Comp Competitive Coach
-She works hard to ensure everyone is safe and working hard on the skills they need to succeed.
